Logos-certifBRC certification:
As soon the milk is taken for delivery, the transformation process is conducted under strict hygiene conditions in full compliance with HACCP standards. Every step of the production process is subject to controls and managed to meet a detailed series of specifications.

Herve Société was awarded the British BRC certification, which is your guarantee that we apply the most rigorous hygiene and quality standards.
Based on tight controls and our own set of specifications, this system enables us to guarantee the quality of the products leaving our dairies.

Organic certification :

. The cheese dairy has also received organic certification. Thanks to the collection of local organic milk, several organic cheeses have expanded our range of cheeses.

Milk, the cheese base ingredient :

The milk used to manufacture our cheese comes exclusively from farms in the Pays de Herve.

Herve Company has chosen pasteurized milk. The soft cheeses are particularly susceptible to the development of pathogenic bacteria. This choice is justified by the overall evolution of health standards and the desire of consumers to find secure products.

Our Laitherbe project is particularly close to our heart. Are at the heart of this project: the importance of the selection of farms, milk quality and especially the maintenance of grazing as the primary feed for dairy cows. All these elements are essential to keep the link to the land and the preservation of the typical landscape of the Pays de Herve.
